I personaly feel that the humans are by far the most selfish race on the planet. We think that we are above every other living thing. We are greedy in regards to the environment and half of us couldnt care less if there are ever decreasing populations of species around the world. Half of us couldnt care less if there is an ever inceasing temperature of the earth that is killing inhabiants of the Artic and Antarctic oceans, and will evenualy effect us hugely in the long run. The ice caps are melting rapidly and soon there will be no more ice caps to melt. This means that they may all have melted and flooded parts of the world. Scientists beleieve that in a possible fifty years, global warming may have caused massive floods in some parts of the world which has the potential to kill. And what are we doing about it? Next to nothing. We need to start thinking about our environment, people are so wrapped up in themselves, they dont even realise that if our environment dies, they die with it. A little sacrafice today, can prevent tragety tommorrow. We can do something too. We can't sit back and say "One person won't make a difference," anymore. Because we live in a world where one person can make a difference. One person's actions can influence another person's actions. People will follow a strong leader. One person can create a spark which inspires others to create sparks, and eventually, all the sparks will come together to create one beautiful burning fire. So don't sit back and watch our world crumble to pieces, knowing you can do something about it. Spread the word, start making changes. One person today can change everything tommorrow.
